Module Aims
- To give students a theoretical understanding of principles of human computer interaction
- To provide students with an understanding and ability to apply theories for design and usability evaluation of interactive multimedia systems
- To give students practical experience and skills in designing, developing and evaluating interactive multimedia systems
- To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the field of Human Computer Interaction and the scope of issues affecting it
- To provide students with knowledge of the factors that influence interface design
- To introduce techniques by which Human Computer Interaction principles can be applied to interface design
- To teach students how to evaluate interfaces
- To ensure familiarity with standard interfaces and expose students to exemplary interfaces.
