“Order. Desire. Light. An exhibition of contemporary drawings includes some 250 works on paper by a wide range of contemporary artists from around the world from a single private collector. This exhibition brings together many different approaches to this practice, while focusing on the experimental nature of the medium of drawing and its closeness to poetry. These drawings respond in a highly individual way to the world, which is somehow ordered within each particular vision, while fulfilling all kinds of desires and casting a particular light on the realm of experience and knowledge.”

This exhititions of drawings comes to a close on the 19th of October. It’s of particular relevance to the Visual Language module, as we will be concentrating on visual research, the creative use of line, point, shape, space texture and pattern using mixed media and drawing techniques for the next few weeks.
