1. On an administration Mac, log in using your username and password
2. Open the Macintosh HD

3. In Applications, open the “Cannon Uilities” folder
4. Open MP Navigator EX1.0

5. Select the option “Photo 1”

6. In the first drop-down menu select “Photo”
7. We will be uploading the images to the web, so a resolution of 75 dpi is fine
8. Type a meaningful name that you will remember for the image title
9. Select “JPEG” for image type (Gif is better if the image is solid blocks of colour for example a logo)
10. Select a medium resolution (we want to keep the file-size down as the image is for the web, a low resolution reduced the file size, but also reduced the quality. If you are editing the image in a software package at a later date, you can reduce the file size here also.)
11. Select your individual folder on the network to save the image
12. Click “Scan”. The image will scan and save to your folder. It may also automatically open up Canon Photo Editing Software - you can close this down if you dont need it.

13. When you log into your wordpress blog, you can write or manage a post and click the “add media” button to upload your image:
